Notification

This year “Karam Puja” festival will be celebrated on 3rd September, 2025 (Wednesday). In partial modification to Finance Department Memo No. 4712-F(P2) dated 22/11/2024, the Governor has been pleased to declare the date i.e. 3rd September, 2025 (Wednesday) as State Government Holiday for the State Government Offices, Local Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Boards, Corporations, Undertakings and Institutions including educational institutions controlled or owned by the State Government, and also for the employees of tribal communities employed in Tea Gardens all over the State with the exception of the offices of the Registrar of Assurances, Kolkata and the Collector of Stamp Revenue, Kolkata.
