Nationality
Applicants must be Indian citizens. Additionally, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and people of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible, provided they hold a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
