West Bengal Terminates Tenures of Board Members & Re-employed Officers in Finance Department
The Finance Department (Audit Branch) has issued a sweeping order under Order No. 1631-F(H), immediately terminating the tenures of all nominated members, directors, chairpersons, and officers on re-employment beyond the age of superannuation across all Finance Department bodies.

ORDER
In terms of Home and Hill Affairs Department No. 861-Home(Cons)/R1M(Cons)-40/2026 dated 11.05.2026, the tenures of the nominated Members/ Directors/ Chairpersons of different Boards, Organizations, non-statutory bodies and public sector undertakings of the State Government under Finance Department as well as the tenure of officers/ officials who are on re-employment/ extension of service beyond the normal age of superannuation (60) years in Finance Department stand terminated with immediate effect.
2. This issues with approval of the Additional Chief Secretary of this Department.
